2026 ROSÉ

We love the crunchy, dry provincial Rosé styles from the south of France, so it’s natural that we gravitated towards making this style for our MyattsField Rosé. Pale Salmon in colour and made from varieties (Grenache, Mourvèdre and Viognier) that have crisp acidity, lifted aromatics and a mixture of sweet fruits and more savoury flavour characters.

In recent years demand for our Rose has forced us to look outside from the Perth Hills to secure enough fruit leading to the introduction of Swan Valley Grenache.

This crisp, dry Rosé was made using Grenache, Mourvèdre and Viognier. Its delicate pink hue is accompanied by lifted rose petal, apricot blossom and raspberry aromas while the palate display forrest berry fruits with a spicy, savoury edge.

“The rosés out of Myattsfield in recent years have been quite stunning. This one is a blend of mourvèdre, grenache and viognier. Certainly, that viognier adds a quite spicy lift on the nose and the finish, which is most appealing. Colour is a palest onion pink. The aroma is dominantly rose petal, with a little strawberry and dried herb character. The palate is zingy, but there is a textural feel here. The finish is dry, with a slight savouriness about it. It really does nail this style.”
