Sourced from an old vineyard in Chidlow. Here the vines sit in the Perth Hills iconic ironstone gravels over clay, ancient soils that are naturally low in fertility and require the vine to work hard for survival ensuring fruit of concentration and intensity.
Aromas of granny smith apples and peach blossom greet the nose while juicy lemonade lemon flavours fill the palate.
“A lovely, lively working of the variety. Lots of green apple, gingery spice, sea spray and green almond. It’s refreshing, with bright perfume, succulent texture and energetic zing. This is a wildly lovely and drinkable white that shows off the best of the variety in a restrained form. Very good. Huge value. Ludicrous.”
