Spring Sip & Paint with Kate Allen

Be inspired by the beauty and colours of the blossoming vineyard for our Spring Sip and Paint with local artist Kate Allen.

Set in the beautiful grounds of MyattsField Vineyards, in this bespoke acrylic painting workshop you will get to paint your choice of flowers in Kate’s signature Flower Fields style, or in a classical still life style.

With one-on-one guidance from the artist, you will learn techniques for sketching out artwork, picking a colour palette, colour mixing, and how to create focal points and balance across an artwork. You can choose from a range of flowers to paint (adapted to the levels and needs of participants), and you can choose to tailor your design as much as you like to make it your own.

Your ticket includes a complimentary glass of wine to sip while you paint, with extra glasses and bottles available for purchase throughout the event. Once your canvas is complete, stay awhile and have a complimentary tasting of MyattsField’s award-winning wine range at the cellar door, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the verandah.

Things to note:

• This is an outdoor workshop under a marquee sheltered from rain, however please dress for the conditions on the day to make sure you are comfortable throughout.
• Aprons are provided, but acrylic paint will stain if it gets on clothing, so please also keep this in mind.
• You are welcome to BYO food and non-alcoholic drinks (no BYO alcohol)
• Parking, toilets and drinking water are available onsite
