A traditional dry aperitif style sparkling made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes.
A classic cuvee made from 51% Chardonnay and 49% Pinot Noir. Seconday fermentation was conducted in the bottle (Methode Traditionelle style). Etended maturation on yeast lees in bottle has allowed this sparkling to develop classic yeast autolysis characteristics.
On the nose the Methode Traditionelle has wonderful soft lifted very yeasty notes, the palate is clean, fresh and acidic, with strawberries and grapefruit, and
yeast autolysis characters. This wine is a perfect aperitif, dry, crisp, and refreshing. It will also go very well with freshly shucked oysters.
