Left Field Club Tank Tasting Workshop

Sunday the 27th of March 3.30pm
Take a tour of the MyattsField tank room whilst sampling white wines from the 2011 vintage and discussing the finer details of winemaking with winemaker's Rachael and Josh Davenport. Guest will also enjoy sampling wines from the MyattsField range and afternoon tea on the verandah.

 

Annual Harvest Festival Scarecrow Competition at MyattsField
Entries close 31st of March
Be apart of the Harvest Festival by creating your own imaginative scarecrow. Scarecrows will be displayed at MyattsField during the month of April and at the Harvest Festival. The Scarecrow Walk is a new project aimed at raising awareness and funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Western Australia. Prizes will be awarded to the Best and Most Popular scarecrow on Sunday the 1st of May at MyattsField. Scarecrows will be judged by the Hon. John Day, Minister for Planning, Culture and the Arts and John Gummer, Chief Executive Officer of MDWA. The total prize pool is $800, so get creatative, have some fun and support a get cause.

Disgorging Workshop
Sunday the 17th of April 3.30pm
$170per person or $200 per couple
This workshop is a unique insight into the production of sparkling wines. Guests will begin the afternoon by tasting MyattsFields range of sparkling wines. Winemaker Josh Davenport will take guests on a tour and give a brief explanation as to the process of making sparkling wines. Guest will trial dosage liqueurs to find a blend that suits their individual palate and learn to disgorge before disgorging their own 6 pack of MyattsField sparkling wines with their prefered dosage. Places are limited so please book your tickets early.

Harvest Festival
Saturday the 30th April and Sunday the 1st of May
11am til 5pm

Come and celebrate the Harvest Festival at MyattsField. This year you can lounge on the grass whilst enjoying live music, gourmet foods, arts and crafts, this seasons new produce and of course our award winning wines. The kids will have a blast with face painting and our annual scarewcrow competition. Bring your picnic rug and friends for a relaxing day in Carmel Valley.

 

Winemaker's Lunch
Saturday the 30th of April and Sunday the 1st of May
$120 per person
Experience the ultimate Harvest Festival indulgence by joining MyattsField winemaker Josh Davenport for a 5 course 'Winemaker's Lunch'. Held in the VIP room at Myattsfield, this is a fabulous way to enjoy the Harvest Festival out of the mainstream hustle and bustle. Relax and enjoy great food carefully paired with our award winning wine as Josh shares some of the ins and outs of his passion- viticulture and winemaking.
RSVP with full payment is required due to limited seating.

Vintage Fortified Benchmark Tasting Workshop

The 'Left Field' Wine Club members are invited to the Vintage Fortified Benchmark Tasting. Winemakers, Rachael and Josh will explore the unique characterisitics of Ports from across the globe.  Members are welcome to sample the entire MyattsField wine range followed by afternoon tea on the verandah. Good Food and Wine Show
Friday 15th and Saturday the 16th July, 10am til 6pm
Sunday 17th of July, 10am til 5pm
Come and discover the thousands of tastes, flavours, products and techniques from hundreds of exhibitors at the Good Food and Wine Show. Wander through the general exhibits including food, wine, spirits and cooking utensils, watch your favourite celebrity chef or join a class in cooking or wine tasting.

MyattsField will be exhibiting a selection of their finest wines and winemaker, Josh Davenport will be available to discuss all matters of grape growing, winemaking and of course wine tasting!

 

 

Mundaring Truffle Festival
Saturday the 30th to Sunday the 31st of July, 10am til 5pm
Discover fresh WA truffles, truffle products and the outstanding food and wine of Perth Hills and regional WA. The festival features truffle dog demonstrations, gourmet produce market, food piazza and truffle themed takeaway, festival food forum and fungi art exhibition.

Perth Hills Wine Show at the Mundaring Truffle Festival
Tickets $15 including a complimentry wine glass
The Perth Hills Wine Region stretches along the Darling Scarp from Serpentine to Bindoon and emcompasses over 20 wineries. The annual Perth Hills Wine Show enables wineries from the region to enter their wines to be judged by wine industry judges from across Australia. The Wine Show at The Mundaring Truffle Festival allows all enterants to showcase their wines with wine tastings and bottle sales. This is a great oppertunity to sample wine from the across the region and experience the wines that have won trophies and medals.
In 2010, MyattsField won two trophies and three medals.

Let winemakers Rachael and Josh Davenport take you on a tour of the MyattsField Barrel Room. Members will sample 2011 red wines straight from the barrel and discuss the winemaking process and the unique characteristic of MyattsField wines. The tour will be followed by afternoon tea on the verandah. Strawberry Fayre
Sunday the 2nd October
11am til 5pm
Come and celebrate with MyattsField as they recreate the 'Strawberry fayre' of their ancestors. This festive affair will launch the new range of MyattsField sparkling wines accompanied by fresh strawberries. Lounge on the grass whilst listening to live music and be swept away by gourmet foods, arts and crafts, new seasons produce and of course our award winning wines. There will be plenty of activities for children including face painting and a bouncy castle. Bring your picnic hamper and high spirits for a lovely day at MyattsField.
