2009 Tempranillo

Tempranillo is a Spanish variety that is well suited to the warm days and cool nights and elevation of the Perth Hills region.

As a winemaker’s folly, a small parcel of Tempranillo was sourced from Chittering at the northern end of the Perth Hills.

The blackcurrant and dark cherry flavours of the Tempranillo marry well with the mocha and spice characters of new Hungarian oak.

Unfined and unfiltered this wine is allowed to show its true form.
